Redirecting Broken Links at Blogger.

Broken Means dead Link.Broken Links can any your Visitor too much it's our responsibility to solve Them.As Blogger has released exiting SEO feature of link redirect we will remove the broken link using  that redirect feature.If you want to do it try this.

Finding Broken Links.

Broken link are found by Google Spiders or crawlers.When they will index your content they will find the Broken Links.Just you need to follow this.

1. Go to Google Webmaster Tools (Heart of Google Search)
2. Sign in at There.
3. Select your Blog
4. Go on Diagnosis  and click on Crawl Error as in picture.
5. Click on Not Found
   
6. After clicking scroll the page where you must be seeing like this.
   
7. Those are the list of Broken links.Copy that link.Here we will copy first link [2011/04/nab...] from picture as example.

Redirecting Broken Links.

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard>Setting>Search Preference.
2. Click on edit of custom redirect.
3. In in from enter the broken URL without Blogurl and ending slash.As above example we will add [2011/04/N....]
   
4. In in to add the give the name of Post.
5. Use the redirect wisely as we can redirect up to 10 only.
