I have added this as Meta Description in Blogger Rounder.
After few hours I saw this result.
Now you can see meta description is great deal for us.So we should add them in Blogger.To add follow this steps.
Adding Meta Description at Homepage(Main page)
- Go to Blogger Dashboard>Setting>Search Engine
- Click on Edit which is left to meta description.
- Tick on Enable search Description.After ticking add the meta description and click on Save Changes.
- After click add the short description about your Blog that will be in Search engine Result page.
Adding Meta Description in individual Post.
To add meta description you need to enable Search Description (Meta Description) that we done at step 3.After enabling meta description proceed below.
- Go to Edit or make a new Post.
- Keep your Eyes at Right side of Screen where you can see search description like this.Click on there.
- Add your meta description in content box and click on done.
- After adding finally publish the Post.
Checking Meta Tags.
To be sure whether meta Tags are installed properly or not we need to check the meta description.You can check through here.If you can find your Meta tags then you need to add conditional Tags of Meta Description like this.Adding Meta Conditional Tags.
Good News folks now you don't need to add these tags...Blogger has successfully implemented it.You can see meta tags without adding conditionals tags.
Although meta tags will be added automatically.You need to tweak template in this way.- Go to Template.
- Click on edit HTML.
- Add this code after
<head>tag<!-- Meta Description Conditionals Tags starts --> <b:if cond='data:blog.metaDescription != ""'> <meta expr:content='data:blog.metaDescription' name='description'/> </b:if> <!-- Bloggerrounder.blogspot.com --> <!-- Meta Description Conditionals ends -->
- Now check you can see that meta tags appering in Your post and Blog.
