1. As the feature has been added to Blogger it has been more easy to apply that.You can apply in blogger like this.
2. Go to Blogger.com
3. Make or edit the post as you do usual.
4. In toolbar click on insert Jump Break in the part where you want to show summary.
5. Publish the post.
6. Now visit your Blogger Homepage,Label page and archieve page you may see summary of the page.

At Window Live Writer .

This is cool,Window live writer also supports the Jump break.For that follow this

1. Make a post or  edit the post as you do usual.
2. Go to “Insert” tab.
3. Point the cursor in the part where you want to apply jump link.
4. Click on Split post icon.
   
5. If you switch to source you can see <!--more--> code.
6. Publish your Post.
7. You can see the summary as your wish.

At WordPress.

1. Go and create or edit the post.
2. Switch to HTML editor.
3. Add  <!--more—> code to place where you want to apply jump link.
4. See the action by visiting in your Blog.
