Embed Flickr Slideshow in a Blog.

As we know “A picture is Worth thousands of Words”.We need to post regular pictures in a Blog but posting too much is not so good show embedding slideshow is best alternatives.As in Picasa we have already learnt it then its time for Flickr.Lastly the article deals with how to embed Flickr slideshow or photo stream in Blog..Lets do it.

Getting Flickr Id.

1. Get the Flickr id  from address bar.Am I confusing you then get the Flickr ID like this.
2. Go to Flickr
3. Click on Your Photo Stream
   
4. After ground to Photo Stream you can see URL like this in Address Bar
   .
5. Copy your Flickr ID from address bar.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/74821881@N05/?saved=1

6. See the number 74821881@NO5 which is my Flick Id.Now find your own.

Embedding slideshow in Post.(For Both Blogger and WordPress )

If you want to embed slideshow in post then embed like this.

1. Go to Blogger/WodPress Dashboard>New Post.
2. Add this in HTML mode

   <iframe align="center" src="http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=74821881@N05" width="500" height="500" frameBorder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe><br /><center><small>Created with <a href="http://bloggerrounder.blogspot.com">flickr slideshow</a>.</small></center>

3. In User Id replace with your Id That we got Form Step first.

Embedding  Slideshow in Widget.(For Blogger Only)

1. Go to Blogger Dashboard>Layout
2. Click on Add a Gadget
3. Scroll down the page and click on Slideshow.
4. In Source select Flickr.In Option Tick on User and In Username enter the flick id that we get from above.In options (not first but second be careful there are tow option) configure with your Taste.
5. Finally click on Save Button.
6. Go to Your Blog you can see Slideshow of your Image.

Adding Slideshow as Widget (in WordPress.)

1. To add slideshow as widget just follow this.
2. Go to WordPress Dashboard>Appearance>Available Widget
3. Drag Text widget to sidebar.
4. In Content box enter the iframe code that we got from Embedding Slideshow at post (See Above).(Don’t forget to replace with Your Flickr Username)
